The Nisti family restaurateur tradition began in the late 70's when they opened one of Rome's most prestigious restaurants next to the world-renowned Piazza Navona.
One fateful night in 1996, an American customer challenged Giorgio Nisti: "It's easy to have a classy restaurant in Italy. I'd like to see if you'd ever be able to keep these high culinary standards in Miami!" Giorgio couldn't keep the thought out of his mind. Eight months later, La Lupa di Roma opened its doors in Miami Beach.
The Nistis are true restaurateurs. Giorgio Nisti runs the kitchen; their son Flavio attends to customers and the extensive list of wines Rosanna makes sure every guest is satisfied and Giorgia takes care of the marketing.
For the Nistis, owning and operating a restaurant isn't about easy profit. It's about sincere appreciation of food, wine and -- most importantly -- the satisfied customer. At La Lupa di Roma, you will never be rushed through a meal. As Rosanna says, "a customer is not a customer, but a guest invited to dine in our home."
The Nistis take great pride in their work, focusing on providing guests with a truly epicurean experience that features creative Roman cooking, the finest Italian wines and warm hospitality. It's this love for great food, wine and company that brings back La Lupa's many loyal customers. |
